In my opinion sexism is an issue that must be adressed from the importance this has for the growth of an egalitarian society, it is sexism not only reflected in the cries of men to women in the streets, but is perceived through different behaviors, such as the devaluation of both capabilities as remuneration to woman in employment, increased demands to enter armed and law enforcement forces and even overcharged by the Isapres just because they are women.
The discrimination is a symptom of a sick society by the male chouvinism, that not only affects to women, but also ti men, teaching them from children that they must be the stronger sex, the dominant and that any behavior that is female is wrong with them. This is a clear sing that woman are seen as inferior. The gender toles that promotes the sexism it is not allowed that a royal advance should exist in the incorporation of the woman in the society, and not as a mere object, but as a human being who has the same capacities, skills, aspirations and needs that a man. On the other hand, the violation of the rights of the man in topics like the paternity between others.
From my point of view, sexism is a phenomenon that must be tackled from feministparadigm, where real progress in the struggle for the gener equalitu, where stereotypes ans roles male chouvinist dissapear is achieved.
